![]() Any thoughts on this? From what I have read on the subject in Vuescan bible and elsewhere, in order to have IR cleaning you have to have the output set to 64 bit RGBI. Upon import into Lightroom though I can see that the IR cleaning has NOT been saved into the DNG as you say in the guide. I can see that it has removed dust spots etc within the preview. If I want ir cleaning then I need to specifically set this to 64 bit RGBI. Like it seems to set this by auto to 48 bit RGB. With my plustek this does not seem to then allow infared cleaning. And that is difficult based on looking at an orange negative.Ģnd is setting bits per pixel to auto. I’m guessing this is not an issue for the final scan but it is still a little annoying because I would like to be able to judge whether I actually want to do a full scan or not. I’m seeing a couple of issues with this guide and my set up:įirst is that by selecting image as the media, the preview does not invert it so I’m just looking at the negative throughout the process. ![]()
